EZ Eats Spaghetti Squash Lo Mein

Spaghetti squash lo mein with mixed veggies and ground beef. I seasoned with a tablespoon of gluten free soy sauce (Tamari is an awesome brand. They are non-gmo and gluten-free), a tsp of ginger, tsp of asian five spice and salt to taste. Bake the squash, cook the meat and veggies separately, then mix it all together! Consider the squash your lo mien noodles. I found the idea for spaghetti squash lo-mein on Detoxinista's blog.

Nutrition Notes: Spaghetti squash is great for post workout to replenish your carbohydrates (fast energy) quickly. If are interested in fat loss, don't go overboard on the spaghetti squash. I used 85% lean ground beef. Go for the grassfed as often as possible. For the veggies, all are from frozen. These are easy to keep on hand and save a few bucks on groceries. Raw veggies are more nutrient dense. I gave all my carrots to E because they are high in sugar and starch making them better for adding weight. Our bodies use carbs for energy first and neglect our fat stores, so try to limit your carb (minus fiber) intake if you are looking to lose fat.
